2014: Tactile Optics: Prints from the Cheech Marin Chicano Collection

The "Tactile Optics: Prints from Cheech Marin's Chicano Collection" exhibit featured, from 5 December 2014–6 March 2015, a series of gicleé prints donated to LSGS by actor and art collector Cheech Marin. The opening panel and reception took place on 15 January 2015, with invited speakers E. Carmen Ramos, curator at the Smithsonian American Art Museum, and Claire Fox, author of Making Art Panamerican: Cultural Policy and the Cold War (U Minnesota P, 2013) and Professor at the University of Iowa.
