The Program in Latino/a Studies in the Global South is located on the first floor of the Friedl Building on Duke's East Campus. If you have any questions regarding our program, please contact our faculty & staff who will be able to assist you.
We also invite you to join our Listserv — Latinolist — to keep in touch with our department and learn more about activities surrounding LSGS.
Directions & Parking
If you are taking the bus from West Campus, get off at the main East Campus bus stop. We are the first brick building on the quad's right hand side.
If you are traveling by car, you can park for free (2 hours) on the city streets, nearest the intersection of W. Trinity Ave. and N. Buchanan Blvd. From there, walk onto campus along W. Trinity Ave., pass the white wooden dorm (Epworth) and you'll then be facing the back of Friedl, our red brick building. Come up the exterior stairs and enter through Friedl's side door. (A five-minute walk, max!)
